Q: What experience is required for application of Ordinary Member?
  In order to obtain membership, you must have gained at least one year of relevant supervised practical experience in any accounting or related role. The experiences may be gained in any business sector or combination of sectors. For instance, industry, commerce or the public sector.
   
Q: For application of Ordinary Member, can I include experience gained prior to registering with CAT(S) Ltd?
  Yes, we will accept relevant experience gained prior to registration, provided it can be certified.
   
Q: Do I have to submit my Testimonials with my application?
  Yes, you are required to submit your certified copies of testimonials covering your working experience. Each testimonial should summarise the period of your employment, your job title and a brief description of your duties.
   
Q: Can part-time work experience be counted?
  Yes, part-time work is acceptable for membership purposes provided it could be certified through the submission of your testimonials contains the period of your employment and relevant supervised practical experience.
   
Q: If I have ten years of relevant practical experience, can I upgrade to senior members?
  Yes, it provided that you obtained at least seven years of approved post-qualifying practical experience.
   
Q: How do I pay annual subscription fee to CAT(S) Ltd?

Q: How do I resign from the CAT Full Membership register?
  You may notify ICPAS Examination & Student Registry (in writing) in the year for which you have paid your annual subscription fee. You are required to return your CAT Full Membership Certificate to ICPAS Examination & Student Registry.
