| Introduction |

| ICPAS Professional Examination (ICPAS PE)
is a qualifying examination for graduates with a recognised university
Degree in Accountancy or Commerce, Business Administration, Management,
Banking and Finance or Economics with a major in accounting or related
subjects; whose qualifications do not meet the direct entry requirements
of ICPAS membership.
Applicants applying for ICPAS PE are subject to meeting core
subjects’ requirement and final approval by the Institute’s
Board of Education and Examination (BOEE). Upon approval,
the applicants will become ICPAS PE Candidates to attempt
5 modules, with or without taking qualifying subjects, in
which examinations are conducted biannually. Preparatory course
is available to help candidates to prepare for the examinations.
After passing the 5 modules examinations, ICPAS PE Candidates
may proceed to apply as provisional member of the Institute
and thereafter becoming a full member i.e. CPA Singapore,
subjecting to membership requirements.

| Qualifying Subjects |
| |
In addition to the
5 modules, applicants may require to attempt a Financial
Accounting (FA) subject, which is a pre-requisite, and /
or up to 7 qualifying subjects as recommended by BOEE after
assessment.

| Total Modules and Exemptions |
| |
As a qualifying examination
at a professional level, all candidates are required to
attempt all 5 modules without any exemptions.

| Time Scale |
| |
Candidates must complete
the full programme (including completing the recommended
qualifying subjects and additional advance FA) within 5
years from the date of confirmation of their candidature.
The 5 years span will take effect from the date of confirmation
of the assessment application. The candidature will expire
on 31 December of the fifth year.
EXAMPLE: The candidature commencement date for a candidate
who submitted the ICPAS assessment application in April
2009 will commence in June 2009 upon confirmation of his
assessment application status. His candidature will end
by 31 December 2014.

examinations in Singapore under social visit pass.

Examinations are held for all 5 modules in February and May 2012.

| Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA)* |
| |
ICPAS has Mutually
Recognition Agreement (MRA) in place with ACCA UK. According
to the MRA, only members of ICPAS who have completed the ICPAS
Professional Examination and have satisfied ACCA's practical
experience requirement will be eligible for admission into
membership of ACCA.

* Subject
to other criteria as imposed by the respective body at the
time of application. Interested applicants who wish to apply
for membership through the MRAs are advised to seek clarification
